I have these brushes in various sizes. I don't use these for fine painting, but for quick touch-ups on the exterior for my rental properties. I don't bother to clean them, just use and toss away. If I need a sharp edge, I'll cut them straight with scissors. I also make a point to pull on the bristles, slightly, to pull out any lose hairs. Having a box of these in various sizes prevents me from having to run to the store all the time.

I replaced these with the purdy brushes. These work for painting interior and exterior. Basically anything from doors to stucco. I use these daily as a painting contractor and they wash up very easily

Bought for a inexpensive disposable brush, but they clean up well in water based paints and have decent bristles which survive in heavy use and will paint a good edge.

I'm a pro, and it's not worth my time to try to clean a roller cover. So finding an economical cover that does a good job is important. I prefer microfiber over knit, and this one checks off all my boxes. Holds a decent amount of paint, doesn't get matted down and doesn't leave lint on the wall. Will definitely buy again.
